Schoolchildren of grades 8-11, selected to participate in the Forum, are admitted to the final stage of the Olympiad, i.e. who are the winners and prize-winners of the first (qualifying) stage.

The first (qualifying) stage will take place from September 01, 2017 to January 31, 2018 and includes: solving Olympiad tasks in the "Engineering" profile in general subjects of physics or computer science, corresponding to the direction of training, and defense of a research project at a regional qualifying competition.

To participate in the Olympiad of the first (qualifying) stage, all participants must, by October 13, 2017 inclusive, complete electronic registration on the website of the Center for Pre-University Training of the Moscow State Technical University. Regional venues and organizations that are official participants in the Step into the Future program must register participants in the first (qualifying) stage of the Olympiad in accordance with the Regulations on the Schoolchildren Olympiad “Step into the Future” and Federal Law No. 152-FZ of July 27, 2006 “On Personal data "and ensure the organization of storage of documents of registered participants (photocopy of the passport, certificate from the school, consent to the processing of personal data).

Conducting the Olympiad for schoolchildren “Step into the Future” at regional venues is regulated by paragraph V of the Regulations on the Olympiad for schoolchildren “Step into the Future”. The final stage of the Olympiad is held in two rounds. The first round - defense of a research project at the All-Russian Forum of Scientific Youth "Step into the Future" (March 19-23, 2018). The second one is completing assignments in the "Engineering" profile (general education subjects: physics or computer science) - during the Forum.

Based on the results of defending the project and writing the Olympiad tasks at the final stage, the Olympiad Organizing Committee makes a decision and approves the lists of winners and prize-winners of the Step into the Future Olympiad for schoolchildren. The diploma of the winner and prize-winner of the Olympiad of schoolchildren "Step into the Future" in the profile "Engineering" gives preferences for admission to the Moscow State Technical University. Bauman on the basis of the Regulations on the Olympiad of Schoolchildren "Step into the Future" and the Admission Rules: to be enrolled in an educational institution without entrance examinations on the areas of training (specialties) corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad; conformity of implemented educational institution directions of training (specialties) to the profile of the Olympiad are determined by the educational institution independently.

To enter the University, a student should decide on the direction of training and future profession. Numerous courses, training modules of the Center for Pre-University Training, as well as project Olympiads can help him in this. One of such Olympiads is the Scientific and Educational Competition - Olympiad for schoolchildren "Step into the future" in the profile "Engineering"... It is divided into three areas: "Moscow", "Cosmonautics" and "Russia".

Towards "Step into the future, Moscow" (SHBM) You can apply to any department of the University, but only students from schools in Moscow and the Moscow region can participate in it.

Towards "Step into the future, Cosmonautics" (ShBK) can enter the departments that train specialists in the rocket and space industry. These are all the departments of the Faculty of Special Engineering, as well as the Department of Rocket Engines (E1), "Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering, Air Conditioning and Life Support Systems" (E4), "Automatic Control Systems" (IU1), "Devices and orientation systems , stabilization and navigation ”(IU2).

Direction "Step into the future, Russia" (SBR) covers students from all regions of the Russian Federation and all areas of training of the University. The ShBK and ShBM Olympiads are held in two stages:

Stage 1(qualifying) is held in the period from the beginning september by January 31:

Stage 2(final) is held in two rounds from 01 february by March 31:

  • 1st round- academic competition - Olympiad of schoolchildren in the direction of "Engineering" in physics or computer science, March;
  • 2nd round- scientific competition - Scientific conference "Step into the future, Moscow, Cosmonautics", March.

After completing the Olympiad, a participant can receive the following privileges upon admission:

  • upon receiving a first-degree diploma and writing the Unified State Exam (physics or computer science, depending on the chosen specialization) by at least 75 points, the participant applies for preferential admission to the chosen department without entrance exams (the chosen department is the department indicated for admission when writing a scientific work)
  • upon receiving a diploma of II and III degrees, the participant can apply for additional points to the total amount of the exam (in three subjects). More detailed information on additional points is regulated by the selection committee.

Other Olympiads are also held:

  1. Industry Olympiad for schoolchildren "GAZPROM". The Olympiad is held in four subjects in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science. The main goals and objectives are to identify gifted schoolchildren focused on engineering and technical specialties, capable of technical creativity and innovative thinking and planning their professional activities in the gas industry. It is planned to conclude agreements on targeted education with the winners of the Gazprom Industry Olympiad for Schoolchildren.
  1. Olympiad in Drawing and Computer Modeling

Held at the Moscow State Technical University. N.E.Bauman since 2015 for students in grades 7-11.

The Olympiad is held in 2 stages:

  • Qualifying (correspondence) stage (up to November);
  • The final (full-time) stage in february at the department "Engineering Graphics" MSTU im. N.E.Bauman.

According to the decision of the Academic Council, the winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will be awarded additional points for personal achievements upon admission to the University.

  • a 3x4 photo for admission to the University, in the photo on the reverse side the surname, first name, patronymic and the department chosen for participation in the Olympiad are written in full block letters. If the participant will be issued a pass at the preparatory courses, then the photo does not need to be provided.

4. Until November 10, 2018 the participant must upload to the Personal Account: the topic of his scientific work; Full name, place of work, position of supervisor (if any).

Deadlines for submitting information on the topic of scientific work and information about the scientific advisor (if any) extended to20 November 2018 !

5 ... Take part in the academic round of the qualifying stage O lympiads for schoolchildren in the "Engineering" profile in November-December 2018... 6. Before December 10, 2018 the participant must upload an electronic version of the abstract to his scientific work to his Personal Account. It is not necessary to provide an annotation in paper form.

7. Before January 22, 2019 it is necessary to take part in the scientific competition of the qualifying stage of the Olympiad of schoolchildren in the field of "Engineering" - to pass the pre-defense of their scientific work at the department. The schedule of pre-defense research works at the departments will be published on the website in the "News" section in December 2018- January 2019.

8.C 11 to 20 February 2019, you must register for the second (final) stage in the Organizing Committee and pass materials with a description of the research work, in accordance with the requirements of the Organizing Committee and upload an electronic version of the scientific work to the participant's personal account.

9. Take part in the scientific competition of the final stage of the Olympiad for schoolchildren in the profile "Engineering: Technique and Technology" - Scientific conference "Step into the Future, Moscow" - March 11-15, 2019.

Requirements for work

Work should be done as Scientific research, comparative analysis, technical or technological calculation. It may contain new proposals in the field of scientific, technical, information, intellectual technologies.

In the work, it is necessary to clearly identify the achievements of the author and the scope of the results. The problem raised in the work, or its solution, should be, if possible, original. Creativity, intellectual productivity, discovery and generation of new ideas, maybe even unusual, but reasonable, are valuable.

Conference abstracts are not accepted.

IN the work should contain the following parts:

  • title page;
  • annotation;
  • content;
  • introduction;
  • main part;
  • conclusion;
  • list of sources used.

Also, the work can contain applications, list of abbreviations and symbols.

Title page is the first page of the work. It contains the name of the conference, scientific direction, title of the work, information about the author (surname, name, patronymic, educational institution, class / course) and scientific advisors (last name, first name, patronymic, academic degree, position, place of work).

annotation is an A4 sheet with text ranging from 20 lines to 1 standard page. The abstract should contain the most important information about the work and include the following information: the purpose of the work; methods and techniques that were used in the work; results; conclusions. The abstract is printed on one standard page: the title of the research work (project), then in the middle the word "Abstract", below the text of the abstract.

Introduction should contain an assessment of the current state of the problem (task) being solved and its relevance, setting the goal of the work, a description of the tasks to be solved and methods for their solution.

In the main part works should be covered:

  • methods used (reasons for using these methods: efficiency, accuracy, simplicity);
  • comparison of known (with links to authors) and new proposed methods for solving the problem;
  • suggestions for the practical use of the results;
  • the author's own conclusions, which have scientific and practical significance.

In custody summarizes the work done. The conclusion should be consistent with the purpose of the work. You can also give the author's thoughts on further directions of research in the field of the problem being solved.

Requirements for registration of work

The work appears to be done printed on one side of a sheet of A4 white paper... The text of the work is printed in black font, size 14 pt in one and a half intervals... The recommended font type for the main text of the work is Times New Roman. Illustrations (drawings, graphs, figures, tables, photographs) should be given in the main part of the work immediately after the text where they are mentioned, or in the appendix.

The volume of work should be 15-20 pages, no more than 10 additional pages are allocated for applications.

Printed text and illustrations are bound together with the title page. You do not need to attach each sheet of work to a separate file. If the work includes a computer program, then the work is accompanied by a CD-disk or flash drive with a running program.

Participants intending to put their program on Exhibition-competition of software developments must submit:

  • a description of the work done to create a software product (name of the work, its purpose and objectives, novelty, relevance, statement of the algorithm for solving the problem, the possibility of application, the tools used, etc. - 10-15 pages);
  • CD or flash drive with the program;
  • in the application, indicate the list of software required to demonstrate the operation of the program, special requirements for hardware (video card, sound card, etc.);
  • A4 flyer with a description of the software product (edited and designed).

  • an explanatory note of 7-10 pages, including:

Description of the purpose of the part, device or device;

The principle of operation of an assembly unit or device;

Modernization proposals;

We remind you:

To participate in the second round, you must:

1) download, print and fill in block letters the registration card

  • paste a photo into the registration card
  • do not put CM registration number anywhere
  • if you participate in the Olympiad in two or three nominations, then fill out one card, but indicate all the subjects

2) a certificate from the school with a photograph of 3 × 4 cm

4) to the Olympiad, having a passport and everything indicated in the registration card, you must arrive on time at the food production building of AltSTU (on the watch, say that you have come to the Olympiad "Step into the Future"):
